Insulated Metal Panels - United States

Bale Breaker Brewing Company

Deep in Washington State, in an area known as the Hops Capital of the World, the Bale Breaker Brewing Company planned to build a 30-barrel brewhouse. The structure would house 30-, 60- and 90-barrel fermenters. The owner's family, which has been farming hops on this land for more than 80 years, wanted the new brewhouse to also include room for future expansion. The planned facility, to be built out in the open in the midst of actual farm fields, had to stand up to the Northwest elements and provide specific R-values.

The Bale Breaker taproom had its grand opening at high Noon on Saturday, April 13, 2013. In the 12,000-square-foot facility, Bale Breaker Brewing Company is now producing 3,000 31-gallon barrels of beer annually. The design includes space for expansion to increase that annual capacity from 12,000 to 15,000 barrels. Kingspan 900 Series High Rib Insulated Panels in varying thickness and R-Value were utilized for all the exterior walls. The roof was constructed with Kingspan KingZip Standing Seam Roof Panels, also in varying thickness and R-Values.
