The Business Council for Sustainable Energy hosted a successful High-level International Delegates dinner last night, Friday, December 4th. Dan Reifsnyder, ADP Co-Chair; Kay Harrison, Climate Change Director, Ministry of Environment, New Zealand; Dr. Matthew Kennedy, Low Carbon Technologies Manager, Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland; Dr. Ajay Matur, Director General of TERI with the India Delegation made comments on the status of the negotiations and their expectation for a strong agreement.
Thank you was given to the event sponsors: Calpine, Clean Energy Council, Corn Refiners Association, Ingersoll Rand, Johnson Controls, Jupiter Oxygen Corporation, Kingspan Insulated Panels, PIMA, Qualcomm, Solar Energy Industries Association, Schneider Electric & USGBC for their generous support!
Of interest, The Union Interalliée was founded in 1917, at the time of the official entry of the United States into WW1, just after the voluntary American aviators from the La Fayette flight, who had come to increase the number of those who were fighting for the same cause on French soil. The hotel Henri de Rothschild, was generously offered to them as a place to relax between missions. A very historic location for a formal dinner with key negotiators at the Paris COP21.
