Kingspan North America has developed a new program. We call it our Keystone Development Program. You may wonder why we named this program Keystone. A Keystone is actually the final piece placed during the construction of an archway. This keystone locks all the stones into position and allows the arch to bear weight. We feel this is a fitting name for the program since the future of Kingspan North America lies in the skill and experience of our associates.
Seven of our associates have been selected to participate in this 24 month program starting this June. These associates were selected because they are recognized as having high potential for growth within the business. Each participant is assigned a mentor and attends four multi-day training sessions every six months. Topics covered include Communication Skills, Professional and Personal Enrichment, Finance, Project Management and Business Etiquette. The program is modeled after the Kingspan Group Graduate Program in Ireland which has been quite successful over the years.
We are excited about including this program as part of our 2013 training initiative. One of our goals for 2013 is to have all of our employees receive at least 40 hours of training each calendar year. The training is always job related but it is selected based on the needs of the employee. Trainings can be anything from CPR to Excel to Bloodborne Pathogens! As always, check our careers' page for current opportunities with Kingspan Insulated Panels.
